RICHLAND SCHOOL DISTRICT #44 -- 2025 ANNUAL SCHOOL BOARD VACANCIES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on June 10, 2025, the Annual School Board Election will be held in the Richland #44 School District for the purpose of electing school board members to fill any expired or vacated terms.
Any candidate for election as a member of the school board shall file with the Business Manager of the board not less than sixty four (64) days before the election and before four o’clock PM. This means the deadline for filing is April 7, 2025. A Statement of Candidacy and a Statement of Interest must be filed and in the business manager’s physical possession before four o’clock on the sixty fourth day before the election. All times are Central Daylight Savings Times: (NDCC 15.1-09-08 and 09)
ONE MEMBER SHALL BE ELECTED FROM EACH OF THE FOLLOWING AREAS for a 3-year term:
AREA 1 (one) - One member shall be elected from that portion of Eagle Township and that portion of Walcott Township included in the district and lying north of the Walcott Road.
AREA 3 (three) - One member shall be elected from the village of Abercrombie, ND.
AREA 4 (four) - One member shall be elected from Abercrombie Township and that portion of Ibsen Township included in the district.
