Welcome from Principal Hofmann!

On behalf of our entire staff, I would like to welcome all new preschool students and the many new families joining us this year in all grade levels to our Richland School Community!  I would also like to welcome back all returning students!  We have missed seeing you over the past months and are so excited to have you back with us.

I hope everyone has had a relaxing, safe summer break.  I look forward to meeting new faces, revisiting with familiar ones, as well as hearing all about your adventures over the past months.

All teachers and support staff have spent hours preparing materials, creating child-centered classrooms, and reviewing guidelines for a safe, successful school year.  I would also like to offer my sincere thanks and appreciation to our custodial staff. They worked diligently throughout the summer to clean and prepare our building for your return.

As we return this school year, it is my goal to make sure all students are returning to a safe learning environment.  Some traditions will need to change, but every decision will be made in the best interest of keeping you and your child(ren) safe and healthy.

Please check back on this page routinely to see any updates that occur in the elementary building.  Changes are possible as we enter a school year of new learning and guidelines.  This page will be updated as a way to communicate with all members of the community.

As we move forward into the new school year, I look forward to working with all families to ensure everyone is safe as we educate all students to be responsible citizens and leaders.
