Senior Class Picture order forms can be found in the office. Order forms due Wednesday, May 11th.

 

Spring Group pictures will be taken on Wednesday, May 11 starting at 8:30am.  Please be sure to have instruments/tshirts/uniforms with that day for pictures:  Band, Choir, Golf, SOTM, Track, Student Council, FFA & Officers, FCCLA & Officers.

 

Night of the Arts performances – Thursday, May 12th @ 5:30 with the Jr/Sr High School Spring Concert starting at 7:00 pm

 

Drivers Ed Registration forms – due Wednesday, May 18th. *Requirements to take the class: Must be 14 years of age by June 1st. Must have your permit by June 1st. Classroom Sessions – June 13th – June 16th. Classroom instruction – no cost. Behind the wheel – $200. Checks can made out to RHS or paid online through efunds. Must be paid before student can drive.

 

Congratulations to our students who competed in Minot this weekend at State Music.  They performed well and came home with an excellent rating.  Catch them and many more of our student performers on Thursday at the “Night of the Arts.”  Performances will start at 5:30 with the concert starting @ 7:00.

2022 Yearbooks are on sale now!  Same low price of $20/book (+$5 for name added) – Orders due by May 13, 2022.  Order online.

 

RICHLAND #44 FITNESS CENTER: The fitness center will be closed from 3:45pm-4:45pm on Wednesdays for the next several weeks.  It is reserved for track practice during this time.

Coltbackers is excited to announce a summer basketball opportunity for all K-11th grade students.  The Coltbacker SHOT Club encourages athletes to take/make as many basketball shots as they can between May 1 – August 31.  A tiered based goal has been set up for age groups ranging from 5,000 attempts to 10,000 makes.  Forms and rules/information can be found here. ACTIVITIES/ORGANIZATIONS:

FCCLA: FCCLA members wear your FCCLA T-shirts on Wednesday for pictures!

 

FFA: Congratulations to the Richland 44 FFA teams that competed in the NDSU virtual event on April 5th.  The Small Animal Care team took 1st place with Cora earning 1st place honors, Nick W 4th, Eric 8th, Kalie 9th, and Cody B 15th.  The Environ./Nat. Resources team placed 3rd with Otto receiving 6th, Hannah M 7th, Addie 11th, Isabel 13th, and Trinity 16th.

COMMUNITY INFORMATION:

Legion Baseball:  Galchutt Legion is excited to announce that BASEBALL IS BACK!  Students ages 13-18 interested in playing baseball this summer should have registration forms turned in by THIS FRIDAY, May 6.  More information and forms can be picked up (and dropped off) with Kendra in the office.

The team is also looking for a COACH(es)!!  If interested in coaching Legion Baseball in Galchutt, or know someone who might be interested, please contact Keith at 640-2391.
