We’re planning something special for Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week! If you’re able to volunteer your time and/or bring something to our lunch, sign up here.

If it’s more convenient for you to donate money, we can use it to purchase meal items or other gifts for teachers and staff throughout the week.  Thanks for your support!

 

Red Ribbon Week Dress up days –

Friday – WEAR RED – Red-y to stand up to drugs

 

Prom items need to be paid by Thursday, April 28:  

Meal – RHS Jr’s and Sr’s are FREE, ALL other guests owe $12

Prom Shirts – $10 (Junior’s shirts are FREE)

Prom 2022 Glass – $5 (please note in office if you want one)

Prom PICTURES start at 4pm on Saturday.  ALL COUPLES will need to take a picture, even if not ordering.  For those who are ordering, Forms are available in the office. Class pictures of prom attendees will also be taken Saturday before the meal.

2022 Yearbooks are on sale now!  Same low price of $20/book (+$5 for name added) – Orders due by May 13, 2022.  Order online.

 

RICHLAND #44 FITNESS CENTER: The fitness center will be closed from 3:45pm-4:45pm on Wednesdays for the next several weeks.  It is reserved for track practice during this time.

Volleyball: Mayville State University is coming to RHS on June 1st & 2nd to do a volleyball camp. The camp is for all girls entering K-12th grade. Click the link  to register. If you have any questions, please contact either Dawn Storbakken or Tami Taszarek. Hope to see you there!

 

Richland Girls Basketball Camp has been set for June 27-30.  Girls entering 1st-12th grade in Fall 2022 are invited to attend.  Click HERE more information and to register.

 

Coltbackers is excited to announce a summer basketball opportunity for all K-11th grade students.  The Coltbacker SHOT Club encourages athletes to take/make as many basketball shots as they can between May 1 – August 31.  A tiered based goal has been set up for age groups ranging from 5,000 attempts to 10,000 makes.  Forms and rules/information can be found here. ACTIVITIES/ORGANIZATIONS:

Yearbook Members:  We will have working sessions on the following dates.  You can start during flex if available and we will go until about 4:30pm for those who can stay and work.  Monday, May 2 and Tuesday, May 3.   Please talk to Kendra for more details.

 

FFA:

  • Congratulations to Emma Heyen, Keagan Neppl, and Nick Thompson for being inducted into the National Technical Honor Society.
  • Congratulations to 5 Richland 44 FFA members who’s Proficiency applications have been selected as state finalists.  This means they are in the top four in the state and will be recognized at the State FFA convention on June 8.

  • Congrats to Trinity Ringdahl, Emma Heyen, and Keagan Neppl for formally earning their State FFA Degree, the highest degree awarded at the state level.
  • The FFA spring plant sale is just around the corner. Please email Mr. Boehm if you need an order form.

 

Dollars For Scholars:

We are excited for the upcoming Tiaras and Bowties dance on Sunday, May 1 at 2:00pm in the high school gymnasium!  The Grand March will start at 2:00 (participants, PLEASE be there starting at 1:30), the grand march is open to family and friends and picture opportunities will be at that time.  DFS will not be taking pictures this year! Looking forward to seeing everyone on Sunday!

 

COMMUNITY INFORMATION:

American Legion Baseball – Galchutt for 13 years olds and older – Signup sheet is in the office. There will be a meeting on Monday, May 2nd @ 7:00 pm at the Aber Fire Hall.
