EARLY RELEASE – Wednesday, April 6th: Elementary – 1:15 High School – 1:30
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on June 14, 2022, the Annual School Board Election will be held in the Richland #44 School District for the purpose of electing school board members to fill any expired or vacated terms. Deadline to file with the business manager is 4pm on Monday, April 11, 2022. Paperwork can be found here.
ONE MEMBER SHALL BE ELECTED FROM EACH OF THE FOLLOWING AREAS:
AREA 1 (one) – One member shall be elected from that portion of Eagle Township and that portion
of Walcott Township included in the district and lying north of the Walcott Road. (3 year term)
AREA 3 (three) – One member shall be elected from the village of Abercrombie, ND (3 year term)
AREA 4 (four) – One member shall be elected from Abercrombie Township and that portion of Ibsen Township included in the district. (3 year term)
RICHLAND #44 FITNESS CENTER: The fitness center will be closed from 3:45pm-4:45pm on Wednesdays for the next several weeks. It is reserved for track practice during this time.
GROUP PICTURES: Thursday, April 21st starting at 8:20am: Yearbook, Hoofbeat, Honor Society, Baseball, Softball, and SENIOR CLASS PICTURE. PLEASE have any uniforms or items needed for pictures with that morning.
SENIORS: Please turn in Senior pictures to Kendra. Pictures for Yearbook, Graduation, Daily News, and Wall Composite are needed. Baby picture for senior video and any fun/candid pictures for the video can also be turned in. Jump drive of digital photos would be preferred, but pictures can be emailed as well Kendra.L.Dockter@k12.nd.us. Pictures for video should be turned in by April 22.

*We are currently looking for an activity driver to softball practice for our Kindred Coop players. Pay would be a $12 trip payment + $9.00/hour from departure to return (roughly $40 per practice day and $20 per game day). Schedule will vary, but primarily school day afternoons (3-6 on practice days, game days may very on time), with some mornings also. Car will be provided. Dollars For Scholars:
- Dollars for Scholars is holding a Bowties and Tiaras Dance on May 1, 2022, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the High School Gymnasium!! Boys and Girls ages 4 to 12 can attend. Boys bring a mom, grandma or other special lady in your life and girls bring your dads, grandpa or that special guy! Watch for signups to come out soon! There will be a snack, games, and of course dancing to enjoy for the afternoon!!
Colfax Park Board is looking for lifeguards for the 2022 summer season. Must be 15 prior to June 1st. Weekend and weekday shifts. Please contact Mary Boehm at 701-793-3292.

Christine Fire Department 26th Annual Fish “Walleye” Fry – Saturday, April 9 from 4:30 – 8:30 pm at the Christine Community Center. Adults – $15 Children 12 & under $7. Raffle Tickets available from firefighters. All proceeds are used to better the Fire Department.
Easter Egg Hunt – Saturday, April 16th at 1:00 pm, Abercrombie Museum Park. Hunting for Eggs, Ice Cream Sundaes, Prizes, & Take a picture with the Easter Bunny! A free event sponsored by the Abercrombie Community Club.
