Congratulations to the FFA members who competed at Wyndmere this weekend. The Small Animal Care team took 1st place, with Cora Hermunslie, Nick Wulfekuhle and Cody Boehm placing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd as individuals. Other members included Kalie Boehm (silver) and Isabel Viele (bronze). The Environmental/Natural Resources team also placed 1st. Isabel took high individual, Addie Christensen placed 3rd and Hannah Malaterre took 5th. Other members on the ENR team included Cora Hermunslie and Cody Boehm (silver), Trinity Ringdahl (Silver) and Aleda Krenzel (bronze). The Agronomy team placed 5th and received a gold rating. Team members were Wade Gorder and Emma Heyen (gold), and Keagan Neppl and Adam Skoog (Silver).
Congratulations to Megan Taszarek for being named the March Rotary student of the month!
The Richland County Music Festival will be taking place on Thursday, March 3rd. The concert will take place @ 4:00 p.m. in the Richland High School Gym. The performance will also be live streamed on the school website!
CLASS PICTURES: Scherlings will be out the morning of Friday, March 18th for class pictures. THIS INCLUDES SENIOR CLASS PICTURE.
ELEMENTARY GROUP PICTURES: Scherlings will be taking Team pictures for both elementary boys basketball and girls volleyball as well as elementary BAND pictures on Friday, March 18. Order forms for team pictures will be sent home from practice.
Seniors: Please turn in Senior pictures to Kendra. Pictures for Yearbook, Graduation, Daily News, and Wall Composite are needed. Baby picture for senior video and any fun/candid pictures for the video can also be turned in. Jump drive of digital photos would be preferred, but pictures can be emailed as well Kendra.L.Dockter@k12.nd.us Please have Senior pictures turned in by March 11. Pictures for video should be turned in by April 22.

We are looking for a sub for our after-school program (ASP) from the end of April to the end of May. Times are 3-6pm on school days. Please contact Principal Schmitz at the elementary school for more information.

Substitutes for Kitchen Staff Needed!! – We are currently looking for Cook subs! If interested, please contact either school office for more details. Pay is $12/hour.

Spring Trap League: Registration is now open and closes March 21 at Noon for 6th – 12th Grade. (Must have Hunter’s Safety Education completed prior to registration closing). League is 9 weeks starting at the end of March with the State Tournament in June. Seniors: Dollars for Scholars scholarships are open for North Dakota now until April 1 and our local chapter scholarships will open February 1 through March 18th!!
