Seniors: Please turn in Senior pictures to Kendra. Pictures for Yearbook, Graduation, Daily News, and Wall Composite are needed. Baby picture for senior video and any fun/candid pictures for the video can also be turned in. Jump drive of digital photos would be preferred, but pictures can be emailed as well Kendra.L.Dockter@k12.nd.us Please have Senior pictures turned in by March 11. Pictures for video should be turned in by April 22.
We are looking for a sub for our after-school program (ASP) from the end of April to the end of May. Times are 3-6pm on school days. Please contact Principal Schmitz at the elementary school for more information.
Route Bus Driver – Routes run each morning and afternoon on school days. Class B license with school bus and passenger endorsements are needed. Call the district office at 701-372-3713 for more details. Apply online at:
Substitutes for Kitchen Staff Needed!! – We are currently looking for Cook subs! If interested, please contact either school office for more details. Pay is $12/hour.
Substitute Teachers – $120/day plus School Lunch. ND substitute teaching licenses require: 48 hours of college coursework (degree not required), Background check, and Online application. If interested, contact either of our offices. Elementary – 701-553-8321 High School – 701-372-3713.

Spring Trap League: Parent/Athlete Trap Meeting, Sunday, February 27 @ 4:00 pm in the High School Commons. There will be assistance with anyone still needing help with registration at that time, plus answering questions about the upcoming season.
Registration is now open and closes March 21 at Noon for 6th – 12th Grade. (Must have Hunter’s Safety Education completed prior to registration closing). League is 9 weeks starting at the end of March with the State Tournament in June. For students who are planning on participating in the Spring Trap Shooting league and need Hunter Ed Certification there will be class held on March 8th from 6:30pm -9:00pm, March 12th from 8am-5pm and March 13th from 1pm to 5pm. Held at the Abercrombie community hall. You must attend all 3 sessions. Registration is to be completed online with the North Dakota Game and Fish website. Class size is limited and on a first come basis so register right away. Must be 11 this year to take the class. Contact Keith Kinneberg or Alexis Peltier if there are any questions.
FFA: Fargo Force Hockey Game – Saturday, 2/19 Leaving school at 5:00 and returning around 10:00. Sign up in the Ag Room by Friday.
Seniors: Dollars for Scholars scholarships are open for North Dakota now until April 1 and our local chapter scholarships will open February 1 through March 18th!! Be sure to get your profiles done and start applying for scholarships! If you have any questions, please contact one of the DFS members!!

Skating Lessons at Colfax Gardens Ice Rink are back in FEBRUARY!
If you are new to skating or able to skate but would like to learn some new tricks, get signed up for these FREE WILL DONATION skating lessons! You will be able to enjoy skating after these helpful lessons. NO SKATES NO PROBLEM, contact Jon Erdahl at 701-541-0905 if you are in need of skates, there are multiple sizes and multiple pairs of donated skates available at NO COST to you, for both youth and adults! Colfax Fire & Rescue is back for the prime rib supper. Saturday, February 19th, serving from 4-8:00 pm at Richland High School. We hope you will join us for a night of community gathering and fundraising for training, equipment, and supplies for our department. The evening will include a raffle and silent auction. Tickets at the door: $20 for adults, $10 for seniors, $10 for children 6-10, 5 and under are free.
