Sign up here. We still have 34 spots to fill for the Colts Classic 5/6 grade boys basketball tournament – mostly in the afternoon. If you’ve been waiting to sign up, now is a great time. We can really use your help to pull off the tournament! All the money we raise goes right back into the school for things like art experiences, scholarships, to provide supplies for teachers and schools, and more. Please consider pitching in for a few hours. Thanks to everyone who has signed up!

 

Screening Printing Available at the HS this Saturday:  Bring your own items or purchase something new and get your name, number, logo or favorite saying printed on-site.  Team/class/family orders also available.  8:30am – approx 6pm during the 5th/6th grade tournament.  Grab some lunch and do some shopping!  Profits benefit Richland #44 PTO.

Richland #44 is currently in need of referees for elementary and junior high basketball. If interested or for more information on dates and pay, please contact Activities Director Spencer Timm at 701-372-3713.

 

Substitutes for Kitchen Staff Needed!! – We are currently looking for Cook subs!  If interested, please contact either school office for more details.  Pay is $12/hour.

 

Substitute Teachers – $120/day plus School Lunch. ND substitute teaching licenses require: 48 hours of college coursework (degree not required), Background check, and Online application. If interested, contact either of our offices. Elementary – 701-553-8321 High School – 701-372-3713.

Spring Trap League Registration opens Feb 1st – Closes March 21 at Noon for 6th – 12th Grade. (Must have Hunter’s Safety Education completed prior to registration closing). League is 9 weeks starting at the end of March with the State Tournament in June. ACTIVITIES/ORGANIZATIONS:

Dollars for Scholars Penny Wars is back!   February 2 through February 9.  Buckets will be at both the high school and elementary school in or near the offices.  GAIN points by adding pennies and bills and LOWER other classroom totals by adding SILVER coins!!   The money raised will be added to the class totals for a scholarship in their senior year!  The class in the elementary and one class in the high school with the highest points total will win an ice cream party.  ANYONE can add money to the buckets.  There will also once again be buckets at the two home basketball games during the week of Penny Wars!!  Help the classes out!!  Thanks!

Seniors:  Dollars for Scholars scholarships are open for North Dakota now until April 1 and our local chapter scholarships will open February 1 through March 18th!!  Be sure to get your profiles done and start applying for scholarships!   If you have any questions, please contact one of the DFS members!!

 

CHRISTIAN COLTS – ALL STUDENTS WELCOME! – Thursdays at 7:15 am until 8:15 am in the HS Library.  Donuts, Juice, Fellowship, Bible Study, Prayer, Activities, and Fun!  Hosted by Pastor Julé Ballinger & Pastor Janelle Hanson.

 

COMMUNITY INFORMATION:

Please Join Us!  Abercrombie Community Club is hosting a Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, February 13th from 8:00a.m. to 12:00p.m. at the Abercrombie Community Hall.  Pancakes, Scrambled Eggs, Sausage, Juice and Coffee will be served.  To Go Meals available as well.  Please call 701-640-1928 to request a To Go Meal.  Free Will Offering.  It’s a great day to bring your family out for a Valentine Breakfast.

 

Colfax Fire & Rescue is back for the prime rib supper. Saturday, February 19th, serving from 4-8:00 pm at Richland High School. We hope you will join us for a night of community gathering and fundraising for training, equipment, and supplies for our department.  The evening will include a raffle and silent auction. Tickets at the door: $20 for adults, $10 for seniors, $10 for children 6-10, 5 and under are free.
