Childcare Volunteers Needed! On Monday November 8th, we need 2-3 student volunteers to watch children ages 0-5 from 4:30 until 6:30 at the elementary school. This opportunity will be available every Monday for 5 weeks. Food will be provided, and this time can be counted as community service hours! If you are interested, please reach out to Mr. Potter for the signup form!

Richland Music Presents: Annie. This beloved musical is sure to put a smile on your face! Performances will be held November 13th and 15th @ 7:00 p.m. and November 14th @ 2:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale on November 1st. Tickets can be purchased here.

 

Richland Elementary is currently looking for a used washing machine.  If you have one, in working order you are looking to get rid of, please contact Mrs. Schmitz at the Elementary Office at 553-8321.

Job Openings

Paraprofessional: Paraprofessional at Richland High School. Hours: School Days 8:00am-3:30pm.  Hourly wage:  $12/hour. Benefits:  NDPERS Retirement, Portion of Single Health Insurance, 5 sick days. Click HERE to apply.

Substitutes for Kitchen Staff Needed!! – We are currently looking for Cook subs!  If interested, please contact either school office for more details.  Pay is $12/hour.

 

Substitute Teachers – $120/day plus School Lunch. ND substitute teaching licenses require: 48 hours of college coursework (degree not required), Background check, and Online application. If interested, contact either of our offices. Elementary – 701-553-8321 High School – 701-372-3713.

 

Route Subs – $70/day or $35/route. Activity driving $14/hour. Requirements; Class B License with school bus endorsement; background check and finger printing; physical completed every 2 years; random drug/alcohol testing. Apply here

ACTIVITIES/ORGANIZATIONS:

FFA: Congratulations to Richland 44 FFA members who competed at the National FFA Convention this past week. Kiersten Boehm placed 3rd in the National Agriscience Fair in the senior high plant science division. Her project on the effects of LED lighting on plant growth earned her a $500 award. Kalie Boehm earned a 5th place national finish with her project on alternative binders in gluten-free pasta.

The Environmental and Natural Resource team received placed 10th in the nation. Kalie received a silver award while Kiersten, Eric Moen, and Nick Wulfekuhle each earned a gold rating. The event consisted of wildlife Identification, soils, water analysis, GPS, and a waste management team problem and presentation.

The Richland 44 FFA chapter also applied for the National Chapter Award and received a 3-Star Award, the highest rating recognized. This award application summarizes the chapter’s activities over the previous year.

 

CHRISTIAN COLTS – ALL STUDENTS WELCOME! – Thursdays at 7:15 am until 8:15 am in the HS Library.  Donuts, Juice, Fellowship, Bible Study, Prayer, Activities, and Fun!  Hosted by Pastor Julé Ballinger & Pastor Janelle Hanson.
