Substitutes for Kitchen Staff Needed!! – We are currently looking for Cook subs!  If interested, please contact either school office for more details.  Pay is $12/hour.

Coltbackers will again be serving concessions at all home volleyball and football games, including JH.  With this being one of our major fundraising efforts of the year, we look to volunteers to help make this possible!  Please consider signing up if you are able!

ACTIVITIES/ORGANIZATIONS:

FCCLA: Some FCCLA members have not paid dues
-If you have signed up to go to the Fargodome on October 27 – there is an additional fee of $15
-You have until Friday to sign up for the District Meeting, but the t-shirts have already been ordered.

 

FFA: Chapter Meeting is today.

Great job to the Richland 44 FFA members who competed at the District Leadership event. Seven members took 1st place honors and will advance to state competition on November 22 in Bismarck.

District champions include Ella Weinmann in Extemporaneous Public Speaking, and the Novice Parliamentary team. This team consisted of Cody B, Kalie B, Otto D, Lily D, Cora H, and Lincoln H.

Just missing the chance to advance by one placing were three additional Richland 44 FFA members.  Placing third were Levi Ulven in Demonstration Public Speaking and Cora H in the FFA Creed.  Both earned a gold rating.  The Parliamentary Procedure Team placed third.  Team members were Eric M, Nick W, Emma H, Otto D, Addie C (gold), Kalie B (gold), Wade G, Alison H, Keagan N, Ella, W, and Hannah M. Both Kalie and Addie were Officers of the Day, meaning they were the outstanding Sentinel and Reporter respectively. Also placing third was the Quiz team. Team members included Alison H (gold), Nick W, Wade G, Emma H, and Isable V.

In Prepared Public Speaking, Bradyn S received a bronze ribbon. The Greenhand Quiz team received a bronze ribbon. Alexis V, Otto D, Kalie B, Cody B, Logan F, and Preston S were on this team.

 

The Richland 44 DFS Craft & Vendor Fair is back on Nov. 21!  Reserve your space for only $25.
