ND Honor Society:  Students in grades 10-12 who are interested in applying for membership in the ND Honor Society should see Mrs. Heyen for an application.  Membership is based on academic excellence, leadership, service, and character.  You must have a cumulative GPA of 3.67 to apply.  Applications (including teacher evaluation forms) are due Friday, April 23.  Questions?  See Mrs. Heyen

-Current ND Honor Society members need to fill out a volunteer hours form to maintain membership– see Mrs. Heyen for this form.  It is due on Friday, April 23.

 

RHS Prom is Saturday, April 17. Prom has a limited number of attendees. Grand March will be live streamed on our webpage.

 

If you have not paid for your prom t-shirt or your date’s meal, please do so ASAP. Cost for each is $10.

 

Seniors:  Senior pictures are due to the office by April 15th.  Please turn in for the following:  Yearbook, Senior Video, Daily News, Wall Composite, Senior Poster.  (Yearbook and Composite MUST be vertical)

Also, please turn in baby picture for senior feature and slide show by April 15th.   Additional slideshow pics should be turned in by the 15th as well.  If possible, digitals copies on a jump drive are preferred.

Wellness Center Update: Our Wellness Center partially reopened on Monday February 1. If students/families would like to activate or reactivate memberships, please fill out this form.

Use of the Wellness Center will be limited to 4 patrons at a time with limited hours: 5am-8am and 5pm-9pm.  Patrons must sign up ahead of time for each workout here.

Student Council: Meeting today during Flex in Ms. Stenseth’s room.

 

FFA: Congratulations to Kiersten Boehm for being recognized as a State Star Finalist in Agricultural Science.  Kiersten will interview for state champion honors and the presentation will be conducted during the State FFA Convention in June.

 

DFS: BUNKO is Back! Bunko Tournament is on Friday, April 23, 6:30-9:00 pm at the Abercrombie Community Center. $15/person (Must be 21 to attend). Proceeds to benefit Richland #44 Dollars for Scholars. Must RSVP by April 20 to tammymiller244@gmail.com or texting to 701-741-4355.

Colfax Community Meeting – Solar Farm presentation by Savion LLC. Thursday, April 15, 7:00 pm at Richland High School

 

Make & Paint Rain Barrel Workshop – April 20th & 27th, 6:00-8:00 pm at Crooked Lane Farms. Cost is $60.  Learn about water conservation and practical residential storm water solutions. Step by Step instructions on the basics of how to construct, install, and maintain a rain barrel. The two-session workshop includes a barrel, converter kit, and paint. If you are looking for a great opportunity to volunteer your time, please consider helping with the spring cleaning at the Aber Museum, Friday April 30, 8 am – 4pm. The Aber Museum, Park and Pavillion will be open for the season May 29 – Sept. 6, 2021.
