Welcome Back Colts!!
Today’s Menu: Sweet & Sour Chicken | Thursday’s Menu: Sub Sandwiches
Richland SR/JH High School is making masks as one of our activities for our Activity Day the day before Christmas Break. We are looking for 100% cotton fabric donations of fun prints for the masks that we will be making. If you have 100% cotton of fun prints, 1/4 yard or greater that you could donate, we would really appreciate it. Drop off at the Richland SR/JR High School office.
Every year, the student body at Richland High School participates in Colts Care Community Service Day. The RHS student organizations (Student Council, FFA, and FCCLA) work together to coordinate several activities to allow the students the opportunity to give back. Several organization fundraisers provide the funding to carry out this event. We are grateful to Thrivent for helping to fund some of the costs this year as well.
The service projects this year include:
*Fleece tie blankets will be donated to Project Linus and Dakota Children’s Advocacy Center.
*Wool socks are being collected and wrapped as gifts for the New Life Center.
*Benches are being built for the Colfax Pool, as well as shelving for storage for Colfax Ball Diamonds.
*Masks will be sewn and donated to the elementary school.
*Monster Cookies will be made and sold with the proceeds donated to the Children’s Miracle Network.
*Sugar cookies will be made by the dozens and donated to the Great Plains Food Bank.
*Pasta meals will be packaged and also donated to the Great Plains Food bank.
*Plants are going to be delivered to area nursing homes.
*We are also sponsoring a drive to support the Perry Center in West Fargo and the New Life Center in Fargo. We are looking for a wide variety of donations.
Items can be dropped off at Richland High School in Colfax.
