The Junior Class will be selling tickets to win a homemade fleece tied blanket at all of the home Volleyball and Football games.
The Junior class still has a few Homecoming T-shirts available. Long sleeve – $15, Short sleeve – $10.
Sports Banner picture order forms for Cross Country, Football, and Volleyball are available in the office.
There are still a few yearbooks left. If you missed the order last spring contact Kendra to get your copy. $20 each.

School Board – Thursday, October 15th @ 5:30 pm
Football: Next Game – Friday, October 16 vs Tri-State, 7 pm.
Volleyball: Next Game – Thursday, October 15 vs Enderlin, JV – 6 pm Varsity – 7 pm
XC: Cross Country Results from Thursday, Oct 8 (Lidgerwood): Evelyn Hermunslie took 1st place in the 3K Girls race (13:18), personal record, followed by Brezlyn Callenius in 3rd Place (13:41 PR), 9th Sydney Loff (14:54), 10th Kylie Kummer (14:54), Inger Holdman (15:52), Jozie Foley (17:41), Sophie Peterson (17:42) and Aleda Krenzel (19:19).
Preston Schmit took 2nd place in the 3K Boys race (13:17), followed by Boden Schroeder placing 5th (15:13 PR).
Kaden Schroeder finished the Varsity Boys 5K in 21:47.

FFA – Congratulations to the Richland 44 FFA members who competed in various speaking events last week. Judging was done virtually, and results were announced Friday. Kiersten B took 2nd in Prepared Public Speaking and advances to state competition. Adam S received 3rd and a gold rating in Demo speaking, Popi M received a Silver and 4th place, and Tia S earned a bronze rating.
Previously, members competed in the online Quiz events. Receiving a gold award in the senior high quiz was Kiersten with Addie C, Emma H, and Hannah M earning bronze awards. The team placed 3rd. In the Greenhand Quiz event, the team placed 2nd with Alison H placing 3rd overall and Wade G taking 6th. Earning silver were Eric M, Ella W, Nick W, Kalie B, Isabel V, and Otto D.
PTO – PTO has extended their family support program with Store 44, which makes these items available at no cost for students and families right in our schools. Learn more about it here.
Students can drop in to grab what they need and/or parents can use this link to request items, which can be sent home with kids or picked up.
Winter gear drive
Winter gear drive extended! PTO is continuing our drive for winter gear, especially snow pants and boots. If you have any new or gently used items to donate, please drop them in the boxes at the east door in Aber or the north door in Colfax. A sincere than you to all who have been able to donate!
Christian Colts – Christian Colts will meet on Thursday’s at 7:30 am in the Richland 44 high school Library. All students are welcome, truly! Prepackaged breakfast and juice, prayer, activities, Bible Study, and fun! Come and bring a friend! (Led by Pastor Julé Ballinger)
